About me

I'm a Fine artist & photographer. I’ve been passionate about art for as long as I can remember, with a practice rooted in painting and a deep appreciation for architecture, light, and shadow. My work is inspired by the way light animates a scene - often explored through landscapes and structural subjects. Alongside painting, I’m equally drawn to photography – mostly shooting on film with vintage cameras. I’m drawn to black-and-white imagery, high contrast, visible grain, and nostalgic aesthetics that read as timeless. At 19, I continue to develop my style across both mediums, combining observational detail with a strong mood-driven approach. I also take on commissions, creating personalised pieces ranging from pets, people and buildings to cars and portraits - bringing individual stories to life through my work.

Current Highlights

Exhibition

A selection of my work is currently on display at No.11 The Gallery Tetbury, where pieces are exhibited as part of a curated collection of contemporary art. This opportunity has allowed my work to be shared within a wider creative community and viewed in a physical gallery setting.

Alongside this, I continue to offer artwork directly through my own platform, allowing for a more personal connection with each piece and the process behind it.

Original Artwork

Discover

My original pieces are one-of-a-kind works, developed through an emotion-led connection and a vision of a scene, object, or fleeting moment. They focus on form, motion, and stillness - bringing attention to quiet, often overlooked qualities.

Each piece seeks to transform something easily passed by - overseen, over-walked, almost forgotten - into a sense of presence, of stillness, of art.

Often working in black and white, I remove distraction to focus purely on light, shadow, tone, contrast, form, and subject. This high-contrast approach creates work that is both striking and timeless.

Titles are an extension of each piece. Chosen with ambiguity and intention, they draw the viewer in - inviting reflection, interpretation, and a personal connection.

My work is created to resonate - quietly, but deeply.

Visual Stories

I often work with film to capture moments, drawn to its subtle connection to earlier image-making and its ability to soften time. My focus is on scenes and subjects that feel as though they could exist anywhere - untethered from a specific moment, able to drift between past and present.

Much of my work is in black and white, though I’m not limited by it. Removing colour allows a deeper focus on light, texture, and composition, while also creating a sense of distance and timelessness. My black and white photographic collection reflects a similar approach to my paintings - simple in concept, yet layered in visual detail, atmosphere, and meaning.

I’m often drawn to overlooked, over-walked spaces. Places that invite pause rather than attention. I observe, wait, and capture something quiet - something reflective, with a sense of age or familiarity.

The grain and unpredictability of film are central to my process. There is a lack of control that I value - an honesty in the outcome that cannot be fully replicated. While I do experiment with digital photography, I find myself continually returning to film and its more tactile, considered way of seeing.

Commissions

Personalised

Commissions are at the heart of my practice. I value the connection built with each client and the process of creating something that feels truly personal and meaningful to them.

They are an opportunity to capture more than just a likeness - they are about translating the spirit, character, and presence of a subject into something lasting.

Working in my painterly style, I focus on the subtle details that make a subject feel alive; the quiet expressions, the energy, the individuality that often goes unnoticed. Each piece is developed with care and intention, allowing the work to reflect not just how something looks, but how it feels.

A recent commission, Sam, a much-loved cat, was created with this in mind. The aim was to capture his distinct character and presence - resulting in a piece that felt both personal and timeless, and one that was received with real joy.

Each commission can also be thoughtfully finished, including hand-painted vintage frames chosen to complement the work itself. These additions enhance the sense of age, character, and permanence - allowing the piece to sit naturally within a space.

There are no strict limits to what can be commissioned. Whether it’s a person, animal, object, or moment, each piece begins with a conversation. For ideas and starting points, you can explore the suggested sections.
